website design
I can sometimes be persuaded (bribed) to construct websites, even for friends and family. Please contact me if you would like to know more. Note that I expect to be properly remunerated. Currently maintained websites, including this one, are listed below.
Compunerdum: This is where I distribute my software and create interesting tutorials for others to read. I may add other stuff as time goes on. This site features multiple themes, 'cos I like doing them. The drop-down menu is standard html with a bit of CSS magic. Unfortunately, IE (prior to version 7) does not support the hover selector on any elements other than links. The javascript fix was written by Peter Nederlof. The software pages use of the Highslide thumbnail viewer by Torstein Hønsi.
Brian Webster Photography: Brian is a photographer living in Sydney, Australia. His site is very image intensive and uses two types of image viewer. The galleries, of which there are many, use the wonderful Phatfusion slideshow viewer by Samuel Birch. The print sales page uses the highly configurable Highslide thumbnail viewer by Torstein Hønsi. Brian supplied all of the images for the drop-down menus, links and headings.
Francesca Bennett: Fran has an existential psychotherapy and counselling practice in Brighton, UK. She is an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy with 10 years experience. She wanted her site to look professional, accessible and uncluttered.
